There are a few steps that must be taken before a new PC can be built.

1. Decide what you want to be able to do with the PC now and ~3 years from now.
2. I will then determine the appropriate specifications for the computer.
3. I will look up the cost of the required parts from distributors to give you a total price including parts and build labor.
4. Next, I look up the same or comparible PC from one of the big name brand PC companies (like Dell or Gateway).  This allows you, my customer, to compare my offer to the already well known PC manufacturers out there.  I do this because I want you to know that you are getting the best possible deal from me.
5. You then make your decision.
